A technical memo is the shortened version of a technical report, which is commonly used in the sciences to report the findings of a scientific study. They usually include the usage of graphs, charts, maps, tables and other visual aids to convey all necessary ideas. Additionally, compared to other types of writing, these papers are both objective and highly structured. It anticipates multiple audiences, but it still remains heavily scientific in nature. The technical report assignment in particular enabled to examine environmental biohazards within New York City.

I initially LOVED the concept of this assignment. I like looking into the not-so-picturesque parts of New York, probably because I see numerous examples on a daily basis. However, writing it was challenging due to the sheer length of the assignment and the other things going on in my personal and student life. This assignment took a lot of work. This can be attributed to the amount of research required, especially due to my topic being semi-unconventional, and the actual crafting of this paper. However, with all things considered, I enjoyed learning about this topic and am proud with how this paper turned out overall.
